Ooopss!

So another execution took place in Iraq this morning. This is what Condi Rice had to say.

"We were disappointed there was not greater dignity given to the accused under these circumstances," Rice said during a news conference with her Egyptian counterpart.

Yeah, cause the guy's head came off during the hanging.

How the hell can there be any dignity when human beings are executed in public? What sort of decorum does Condi expect? A nice and polite lethal injection, Texas style? At least in Texas, they don't accidentally decapitate the condemned, but shit, dead is dead, and I'm sure the guy doesn't even know that he's missing his head, nor does he probably care.

We've unchained the beast in Iraq, and maybe it's best that we just step back and let them kill each other.

Anyway, I don't think there's anything we can do to stop it, troop surge or not. The shit has hit the fan, the only sensible thing for us to do is to get out of the way.
