Gore's Legislative Recommendations.David Roberts at Gristmill has a pretty amusing live-blogging story on Gore's testimony in the House this morning. You're probably going to be able to find webcasts of the whole thing, but I enjoyed Roberts' personal commentary inserted throughout. Kinda like being there with an irreverent friend who makes you giggle when you're supposed to be serious. If you can't make it through the whole post, he also posts a summary of the ten legislative recommendations to the House that are the heart of Gore's address to the assembly. There will be the usual mockery and dissing of Gore and his proposals from not just Joe Barton and Jim Inhofe, but the whole cabal of wingnuts who seem not to care about the survival of the planet, or even the human race, but perhaps there were enough members of Congress able to open their minds to these sugestions that some of them may actually be implemented. | +Save/Share | | |
