18 Million Cracks in the Glass CeilingAlthough I am disappointed at the outcome of this primary election, I am so happy that we have had a tiny lesson in feminism. My candidate has made it easier for the next woman candidate, and wow, why did I think it would be easy, when nothing has been easy for us ever? The beating that my candidate took in this election was a sucker punch that she took for all women, and I have to say that while I was surprised at the level of misogyny that still exists in my own country, I am grateful to Hillary Clinton for being brave enough to be the first, the first to be called a bitch, stupid, vile, untrustworthy, a ball-buster, a pimp to her own daughter. I cannot image a fight more difficult, or a woman tough enough to do what Hillary Clinton has done. Because she has gone there, the path is paved for the next woman. Thank you Hillary Clinton.
