Corruption and Hackery at Justice
“When it comes to the hiring of nonpartisan career attorneys, our system of justice should not be corrupted by partisan politics,” said Representative John Conyers Jr., the Michigan Democrat who is chairman of the Judiciary Committee.See the whole article in The New York Times today, for more on a report from the Justice Department's own Inspector General and ethics office. The report finds that officials broke the law in applying political and ideological considerations to exclude liberals from elite recruiting programs.
