Bolton?

For the record, let me say that I don't give a rat's ass who we send to the UN. Might as well be Bolton. At least it's honest of us.

We don't care a damn about Darfur -- if they want our sympathy why don't they stir up a tsunami or something else that will get our attention. What's wrong with those people anyway?

We don't care about global warming, the "quaint" Geneva Conventions, or the opinions of "Old Europe" (let alone any of those countries the average red-stater never heard of). The uninsured? The unemployed? The big friggin' deficit? We don't care.

We are at war for reasons nobody had heard of until six months after we invaded. Nobody cares that the case for war was trumped up.

Nobody cares.

John Bolton is the perfect representative of Bush's America.

Why should I care?

FEATURED QUOTE

"It is the logic of our times
No subject for immortal verse
That we who lived by honest dreams
Defend the bad against the worse."

-- Cecil Day-Lewis from Where Are The War Poets?
