Bring the National Guard Home Now!

Did you see the article in the Washington Post that described Pentagon planning for the deployment of the military in the event of terrorist attacks here at home?

Yes the same idiots who have made a mess of Baghdad want to take charge in New York, Chicago and LA when Al Qaeda attacks.

People who tossed aside the Geneva Convention will be carrying guns in the streets? I sure hope not.

Personally, I would rather see our National Guard Troops come home and get trained for counter-terrorism duty. These men and women are needed here, and if properly trained for the job, they will be far superior to any Troops trained by Donald "catastrophic success" Rumsfeld.

Given how poorly the Pentagon planned the Iraq invasion, how inadequately they have supplied the Troops, and how miserably they undermanned the effort, why would anyone entrust their security to Rummy's comatose posse?
