President Bush has had a bad time lately.

I almost feel sorry for him.

The war has been a real downer -- no WMD, no victory, no democracy -- not even any oil! And that miserable Cindy Sheehan.

Finding out FEMA can't handle a little wind and rain. Discovering we have poor people in America (who knew?).

Then poor Harriet, and Karl, and Scooter. Tom DeLay (that mean-spirited little shit). Bill holier-than-thou Frist. Now even Dick is in trouble -- well, that's understandable, but even so it is really very sad.

No wonder the President has lost his sense of humor.

Of course, I never thought he was all that funny -- till I heard this week's Presidential radio address to the nation.

UPDATE: Terror Alert for October 31 shows that Mike Chertoff still has his sense of humor...
