Rejecting God Can Get You Smited!Today Pat Robertson warned opponents of Intelligent Design theory that god might smite them for not believing that the fairy tale story of creation in the Bible is real. He specifically warned the citizens of Dover, Pennsylvania that their vote to oust supporters of ID could have harsh consequences. Robertson had this to say: "To the good people of Dover, if there is a natural disaster in your area, don't turn to god. You just rejected him from your city and don't wonder why he hasn't helped you when problems begin...if they begin."I'm sure the people of Dover are shaking in their boots at this latest warning from god's best friend. If Hurricane Katrina taught us anything it was the value of praying to our invisible guy in the sky when the shit hits the fan. Sources close to Robertson claim that god is working on new hurricanes that cannot be tracked by radar. Apparently they would use technology similar to that found on stealth bombers. This will give god that competitive edge he once held and allow him to smite people more quickly and with less warning. | +Save/Share | | |
