Carnival of the Liberals #8

Yep, another Carnival. Furthermore, this is the Haiku edition of the CotL. Not just your ordinary carnival. For every post the editor has written a haiku, summarizing the soul of the entry. Some very interesting writing here, folks. Clearly, it would be possible to spend one's entire life reading blogs, reading blog Carnivals, spinning from one site to another. Especially when one should in fact be packing.
