300,000is the number of troops from Iraq and Afghanistan suffering from post traumatic stress:About 300,000 U.S. troops returning from Iraq and Afghanistan suffer symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder or depression, but about half receive no care, an independent study said on Thursday.Once again, the troops alone bear the brunt of the human toll of wars they are fighting in our name. And what exactly are our troop-loving, flag pin-wearing politicians who sent these soldiers to war doing for them and their long-suffering families? Why, sending them back to the killing zone over and over, of course, in never ending wars of their own making.
