The Palin SelectionOne Republican pundit says she is well qualified to be President should anything happen to McCain. He cites her personal accomplishments and life story as being as important as her experience in government.A while later, Lindsey Graham is on MSNBC saying the same thing. She's smart, has the requisite character and attitude, and is very capable of stepping up. He would be proud to have her as his President. Has he ever met Ms Palin? No - but he has talked with her on the phone. He got comfortable with the choice relatively quickly - must have been some phone call... So why is she ready to be President, and Barack is not? Why is her limited experience not a problem? One Republican pundit says the key is that she has almost two years of executive experience as Governor of Alaska, while Barack has only legislative experience. McCain has just spent 26 years in the legislative branch - do these guys ever think before they speak? I hear that Sarah Palin is opposed to allowing abortions, even in cases of rape and incest. A woman's right to choose ends at the ballot box if McCain-Palin succeed. I am off for the holiday weekend. I hope you all have a safe and relaxing holiday. Neil | +Save/Share | | |
