Wanna Get My Picture on the CoverIf you can't make it to Washington, D.C. this coming weekend for all the Stop the War activities, TrueMajority.org is making it possible for your voice to be heard, even for your face to be seen. They have started an online "photo petition" that will go to Congress on Monday, Sept. 26, the day that has been designated for anti-war activists to visit their representatives in the Senate and House and tell them, face to face, how they feel about ending this war.On September 26th, people from across the country will be walking the halls of Congress to tell their representatives it's time to end this Iraq quagmire. You can be there too, even if you can't get to the Capitol.Check it out. Imagine your congressperson's office overflowing in pictures of constituents holding signs with their personal messages. It's not the cover of the Rolling Stone, but it might just move some of these folks in the direction of ending the madness. It will be 2006 before we know it; it's all about getting reelected. | +Save/Share | | |
