Success?

"Senate Minority Leader Harry M. Reid (Nev.), Sen. Joseph R. Biden Jr. (Del.) and Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (N.Y.) -- all reject the Feingold approach, reasoning that success in Iraq at this point is too important for the country."

I love this...Success is too important? Am I supposed to argue with that proposition?

So here is my question to all of those people who think success is too important:
What the hell are you going to do differently in order to turn the quagmire, defeat, dishonor, and chaos into success?

What's your brilliant turnaround plan?

Let me guess -- could it be "stay the course"?

So far, that seems to be the only plan. I call it "More of the same". I'm sure you call it "success".

If that's your idea of success, please sign up now. Get thee to Iraq. And please send home a soldier or Marine in your place.

That exchange alone looks like success to me.

No subject for immortal verse
That we who lived by honest dreams
Defend the bad against the worse."
