Looking Past the Burning BushLately, I have been thinking about 2008. So has John Kerry.Personally, I hope he will stop thinking about it. Kerry was an appalling choice in 2004, and would be no better in 2008. Living in New Jersey, where the primaries arrive in June, I had no opportunity to influence the Democatic nomination. We never see the candidates here -- though they shake hands two or three times with every living soul in Iowa and New Hampshire. I would like to see Al Gore take a run at the Presidency. I would like to see Hillary run too. Joe Biden appeals to me (despite the bankruptcy bill). John Edwards would be a long shot -- but I like his approach to the issues, and I would probably support him again if he ran. Who would you support? Who do you want to see in the running? Do you really hate the idea of Kerry/Gore/Dean/Hillary? Do you see a McCain/Clinton ticket coming? Leave a comment -- I am keen to hear what you are thinking. Neil | +Save/Share | | |
