Carnival of the Green 8This week's home for the traveling Carnival of the Green is suhitanantula, where it is neat, spare and chockfull of great stuff. My favorite post included is from a blog called Circadiana, titled "Clocks, Migration and the Effects of Global Warming." If you are a birder, a naturalist of any sort, or an environmentalist caring about the life of the planet - no, any kind of person caring about the continued life of the planet - please read this fascinating, informational piece. It closes with this wonderful paragraph:On one hand, watching evolution in fast action is fascinating (not to mention that it provides plenty of new ammunition to counter creationists' claims against what they like to call "macroevolution"). On the other hand, watching species go extinct due to unwillingness of some humans to accept responsibility for global warming and to implement strategies to counter it, is more than frustrating. It makes one ashamed to be a Homo sapiens. My post on the vast stream of e-waste we (Homo sapiens) are leaving behind us as we move through our technological age, Après la Déluge, is also included in this week's Carnival. Loving these Carnivals. Read, learn, enjoy, meet new souls on the same path. | +Save/Share | | |
