Religious Right holds a dialogueSome of the heavies of the Religious Right got together this past weekend for a third installment of "Justice Sunday", dedicated to stopping the wildly liberal Republican-dominated federal judiciary from stamping out the Christian religion in America: Conservative Christians Rally for 'Justice' in Time for Alito Hearings Christian Post 01/09/06The theocrats' líder maximo James Dobson emerged from his undisclosed location (he's known as a fairly extreme recluse) to address the crowd and urge them to support ScAlito for the Supreme Court: Focus on the Family founder Dr. James Dobson, U.S. Sen. Rick ["man-on-dog"] Santorum (R-Pa.), and others spoke out at Greater Exodus Baptist Church in the televised "Justice Sunday" program against what they said were attacks on conservative Christian values by liberal judges. Outside the 800 seat church, police closed off the street to make room for the over 100 protesters. That's the Christian Right's ideal kind of "dialogue". The leader asks a rhetorical question, and the believers all respond with the correct answer. | +Save/Share | | |
