Noam Chomsky on Failed States

October fifth approaches and yet many Americans still cling to the idea that the Democrats will save us from the dangers of the Bush administration. Others are awaking to the fact that the Democrats never have and never will offer us a real alternative to the capitalist and imperialist policies pursued by the neo-cons in power today. We have maintained our democratic forms, but where is the substance? Is the United States of America a failed state? Noam Chomsky certainly thinks so. Check out the interview below:
