Carnival of the Green #17This week's Carnival is presented by Enviropundit - Green Building Blog. I want to give the host blog its own plug here - this is a fine blog to have at your fingertips if you are at all interested in sustainable, energy-efficient building and/or remodeling. Lots of information on all things related - workshops, materials, new ideas, new stuff. It's so interesting to see how the various Carnival hosts present the material we bloggers submit to them. It's always something different. This week's Carnival itself is very down-to-earth, low-key, and easy-to-read.My personal favorite among the submissions is Dan Strutzel's article: Simple Complexity. Two pieces on green building are my runners-up, as these are things that are currently very much on my mind: Groovy Green's piece on Straw Bale Homes, and Solar Dweller's "Community Solar." There's always so much to learn in these assemblies - grab a cup of tea (green! of course), put the cat on your lap and spend some time growing ever greener. | +Save/Share | | |
